Bow Baseball Guidelines 2010
1. This event will be held during The Great Outdoors Sportsman's Show January 29-30, 2010 at the
Medina Community Center in Medina, Ohio
2. The Target will be set at a distance of 20 years with the bottom of the target set approximately
24" above the floor
3. There will be 5 innings of play where an inning will consist of 3 outs or 8 shots, whichever comes first.
All innings will have a 4 minute limit to shoot 8 shots or 3 outs. Also, only protests or equipment failure
will stop the clock.
4. All scoring arrows must be completely inside and not touching the lines. An arrow touching the line
will receive the lower score. For every scored shot, all runners will advance the value of the arrow.
The umpire will call all arrows from the shooting line with the aid of binoculars and spotting scopes.
The umpire's call is final, unless a protested call is proven incorrect.
5. A team can have up to 5 protests per game. A winning protest will not count against the protesting
team. A loosing protest will receive one out for every losing protest.
6. There are no limitations on equipment, except crossbows and traditional bows will be in separate
classes from compound bows.
